Getting started with ALTABRIG Tools
Learn what ALTABRIG Tools does, how to choose a tool and where to find your account limits.
ALTABRIG Tools combines practical document and productivity tools in one product. You can use supported tools to reduce PDF size, review PDFs, compare document versions, inspect Office metadata and transcribe supported recordings.
The best starting point is the task you want to complete.
1. Choose the tool for the job
- Compress PDF when the main goal is a smaller PDF file.
- PDF Workspace when you need to open and review PDF documents in a workspace.
- Document Compare when you need to see differences between two supported document versions.
- Office Metadata when you need to inspect document properties or change-related metadata in supported Office files.
- Transcribe when you need a text transcript from supported audio or video.
The Landing page and Tools catalogue are discovery surfaces. Each tool also has its own Help article.
2. Do I need an account?
Some capabilities can be used as a Guest. Other tools require at least a Registered Free account. Paid plans increase selected limits and quotas according to the current canonical plan matrix.
Guest Free
Try ALTABRIG instantly without an account.
Registered Free
Create a free account and unlock the registered core toolkit.
Pro
For regular professional use and materially higher limits.
Pro Plus
For heavier, frequent use and the highest approved quotas.
Do not infer access from a marketing label. The current product authorization and plan matrix are the source of truth.
3. Upload or select your file
Each tool accepts only the formats and sizes supported by that tool and your current plan. The interface should show the current limit before or during upload. If a file is rejected, check:
- that the format is supported;
- that the file is within the current size limit;
- that the job contains no more files than the tool allows;
- that you have remaining usage where the tool has a quota.
For current values, use the tool UI, Pricing comparison and authenticated Usage & limits page.
4. Review the result
Do not treat an automated result as a substitute for your own review. This is especially important for document comparison, metadata decisions and transcription used for business, contractual or legal work.
Download or save the result using the workflow provided by the tool.
5. Find your plan and usage
Signed-in users can use the dashboard to see their current plan and usage. Plan descriptions on Help pages must always match the canonical plan data.
6. Understand file handling
Different tools can use different processing models. Some workspace operations may remain in the browser, while other actions require server processing. Use Privacy & Security for a plain-language explanation and the accepted Privacy Policy for full legal information.
7. When something fails
Do not keep submitting the same large job repeatedly. First check the error message, file format, file size and current limits. Retry once when the workflow says retry is safe. If the issue persists, use Troubleshooting.
