Privacy and file handling in ALTABRIG Tools

ALTABRIG Tools contains different workflow types. Some operations may happen locally in the browser, while others require server processing. This page explains the distinction at a product level without replacing the accepted Privacy Policy.

Browser-local operations

When a specific workspace action is implemented as browser-local, it can operate in the browser without sending that action to a server. This does not mean every feature in that module is browser-local.

If the same workspace invokes a server tool, that server tool follows its own processing and quota rules.

Server-processed operations

Processing, comparison or transcription workflows can require server-side work. Current product behavior and the Privacy Policy are the authority for what is sent, processed and retained.

Temporary content and retention

Where a tool has a specific result or metadata-retention rule, derive it from current canonical configuration.

What should I avoid uploading?

Use reasonable care with confidential, sensitive, regulated or third-party information. Before uploading, consider whether you are permitted to process the content and whether the service is appropriate for it.

This Help page does not create legal permission to upload material.

Is my content used to train AI?

How do I remove data from my active workspace?

Use controls provided by the current tool. Browser-local workspace clearing and server-side retention are different concepts; clearing one does not automatically prove the other was deleted.

What happens after retention expires?

Use only documented product behavior. Do not promise backup deletion timing or provider behavior unless explicitly supported by accepted authority.
